Donsaron Kovitcanitcha graduated from Faculty of Arts of Chulalongkorn University. Donsaron does many jobs in Thailand’s independent film scene. He works as a film writer, critic, and journalist for many magazines and newspapers in Thailand.

He also works as an independent film producer, focusing on producing films from new talented Thai film directors. Furthermore, he is the co- producer of Boundary, a creative documentary film by Nontawat Numbenchapol which was screened at Forum Section of the Berlin International Film Festival in 2013.

Donsaron, along with Soros Sukhum and Cattleya Paosrijaroen has established a company 185º Equator which mainly focuses on producing Thai interesting independent titles including Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit’s The Master. He also produced Anucha Boonyawatana’s The Blue Hour, which was screened at the Panorama section of the Berlin International Film Festival 2015. Donsaron was recently appointed as the general manager of Mosquito Films Distribution, a sales company founded by Apichatpong Weerasethakul and other Thai independent filmmakers.
