Frequent supporting actor across a number of genres, usually in minor roles. In special effects films he appears most frequently as a reporter. He had slightly more prominent roles in television, appearing in episodes of Ultra Q, Ultraman, and Ultra Seven.
In 1952 (Showa 27), he signed an exclusive contract with Toho and made his movie debut in the movie " Seven Samurai " directed by Akira Kurosawa released in 1954 (Showa 29). Since then, he has appeared in numerous works regardless of genre, such as office workers , special effects movies , and historical drama .

Most of the roles were inconspicuous, such as the role of a police officer and a reporter, but in the 31st episode of the TV drama " Ultraseven " aired in 1968 (Showa 43), it was parasitic on the body of a girl Kaori ( Keiko Matsuzaka ). He plays an important role as a doctor who saves the pinch of Ultraseven , which fights against the space bacterium Dally .
