On August 15, 1925, when he was 38 years old, he said goodbye to his long-standing stage play life and joined the Nikkatsu General Film Studio. October of the same year, he made his starring debut in the movie "Yoshiha". Next, he played the role of the enemy in the movie "Araki Mataemon", which is a masterpiece commemorating the 1000th anniversary of Matsunosuke.
After the war, he moved to Setogawa-cho, Sagatenryuji, Ukyo-ku, Kyoto Prefecture, and ran a cooking inn "Kawabe".
He died of heart failure on August 31, 1976, at the age of 88. Edit Biography
