Dwein Baltazar is a Filipino editor, screenwriter, and director. Before becoming a director, she entered the entertainment industry as a stylist for the Chito S. Roño film Emir (2010). Then, continued becoming a stylist for television and independent film for around two to three years. Her first film Mamay Umeng (2012) won Best Picture in 2013 Jeonju Film Festival and a nominee in 2013 Bombay International Film Festival.

Her film Gusto Kita With All My Hypothalamus (2018) was submitted for different grant-giving festivals but failed to obtain the grant for seven years. Until the CineFilipino accepted it. This film won Best Original Screenplay and Outstanding Achievement in Directing in 2019 FAMAS Award.
