Maria Chantal Videla, known professionally as Chanty, is a Filipino-Argentinian singer, dancer, actress, model, and member of LAPILLUS (라필루스). She was born in Manila, Philippines, but her family moved to Mendoza, Argentina, where she grew up. She holds dual citizenship thanks to her parents.

She made her debut in 2016 as a commercial model and was later scouted by ABS-CBN as one of the newest members of the Star Magic Circle Batch 2018. She made her TV debut in the drama "Spirits: Reawaken".

She then moved to South Korea to pursue her dream of becoming a singer and spent several years as a trainee at MLD Entertainment (MLD엔터테인먼트). She made her singing debut in June 2022 as LAPILLUS' lead vocalist and face of the group with their first digital single album, "Hit Ya!".

In January 2023, she suspended activities for health reasons. She recovered and returned 6 months later for their second EP, "Girl's Round Part 2". However, in April 2024, MLD announced she would go on an indefinite hiatus due to chronic fatigue syndrome.

She remains part of the group but is only focusing on individual activities, as they have not released any new material since mid-2023.
