He made his debut in June 2012 as the group's vocalist and visual with their first single, "One 4 U".
However, around mid-2015, some members began enlisting in their mandatory military service, and by early 2016, 3 members left the group. They released just 2 singles in 2 years (both in Japanese) before DSP Media (DSP미디어) officially announced their disbandment in March 2019 when all members decided not to renew their contracts.
He enlisted in his mandatory military service on June 17, 2019, and was discharged on December 2, 2020.
He appears to be out of the entertainment industry, as he has not appeared on TV since 2018.
