Yoshimura Yu is a Japanese screenwriter, playwright, and director from Hiroshima. She is also a director of the Television and Radio Writers' Association of Japan and belongs to the Japan Directors Association and Japan Screenwriters Federation.

After working at Jiyu Theater, she has been active as a screenwriter, mainly on TV and radio dramas, and as a playwright and director from small to large theaters.

She received the Galaxy Encouragement Award for the radio drama "Sound Fantasy" and the Broadcast Culture Fund Award and Planning Award for "Nippon Radio Dizz."
