Kaga Yoshiji is a Japanese producer born in Setagaya, Tokyo. He graduated from Keio University Faculty of Economics.

After college, he hoped to become a film director, but his father opposed this decision. He joined NTV in 1962 as a part-time worker in the performing arts departments. Two years later, he started working with drama productions.
