Lin Bo Yang is a Chinese actress born in Xiamen, Fujian, China. In 2018, she won second place in the musical performance major of the Central Academy of Drama and ninth place in the performance major of the Beijing Film Academy in the national art examination. At the same time, she also obtained certificates in broadcasting and hosting, majoring in etiquette and culture at Zhejiang Media College, and in performance at Nanjing University of the Arts. Finally, she was admitted to the Beijing Film Academy and graduated.

She began her acting career at the age of eighteen after being discovered by director Zhang Yi Mou. Since then, she has collaborated with him on five consecutive films, earning her the title of the new "Mou Girl".
