Liao Jun, born Liao Tzu Yvan (廖滋源), is a Taiwanese singer, actor, and TV host born in Dounan, Yunlin, Taiwan. In the 1970s, he partnered with Peng Peng (澎澎) to form the comedy duo "Liao Jun and Peng Peng" (廖峻與澎澎).

He dropped out of school at the age of 18 to seek a stage for his performances. Initially, he performed at the Lian Mei Restaurant (聯美餐廳) and, being an unknown figure at the time, requested the restaurant owner to allow him to sing for free for three months. He later began participating in short skits when an actor was absent.

From 1973 to 1975, Liao Jun served in the Republic of China Army's Kinmen Defense Command performing arts troupe, where he also acted in short skits. After his military service, he briefly sold cork shoes at his wife’s request. Later, with help from others, he moved to Singapore and partnered with Jiang Guang Chao (蔣光超) for performances.

At the age of 31, Liao Jun began collaborating with Peng Peng to host talk shows.

In October 2021, he was appointed Vice Chairman of the Taiwan Black Cat Musical Theatre Cultural and Creative Association (台灣重現黑貓歌舞劇演藝文創協會).
