Tammy Darshana Lichtenberg is a Taiwanese-American actress, singer, and writer born in Taipei. She also has a master's degree in international relations and a Ph.D. in law from China's Jinan University.

In September 2023, she received a Golden Bell Awards nomination for best supporting actress for her role as a presidential candidate in "Wave Makers", a drama series that sparked a #MeToo movement in Taiwan. On the same day, she was also chosen as the running mate in billionaire Foxconn founder Terry Gou's presidential campaign.

In 1988, she married her first husband, Lu Hsiang Jung. They had two daughters, Hsieh Pei Ting and Aggie Hsieh. In 1996, they filed for divorce.

In 2000, she married her second husband, Hsieh Chih Hung.
