She became a trainee at CMG Stars (CMG 초록별) and joined a project group called MINIMANI. She became the main vocalist (using the stage name Song-E) and made her debut in June 2021 with the single album "Stop". She then formed the group's first sub-unit, MINIMANI M, alongside member Choi Rin (now known professionally as Vita Rin) and released their special album, "Heartbreak", in January 2024.
However, Choi Rin left the trio in April 2024, and they have been inactive, and presumably disbanded, since then. She ventured briefly into musical theater and married her non-celebrity boyfriend in September of that year.
In December 2024, she announced she was pregnant and decided to go on an indefinite hiatus. She returned 6 months later.
