She made her debut in November 2015 as RANIA's new main vocalist and maknae with their mini-album, "Demonstrate". The group had debuted in August 2011 but never enjoyed much success as DR Music (디알뮤직) kept changing the lineup and delaying their comebacks.
In early 2020, she was the only member left, and the agency decided to rebrand the group as BLACKSWAN. She re-debuted in October 2020 with their first album, "Goodbye Rania". However, they underwent many lineup changes, not even one month after debuting. She was accused of fraud by an unidentified male office worker who claimed he lent her 50 million KRW ($45,000 USD) to pay for rent, living expenses and credit card bills. She denied the allegations, and DR Music filed a counter lawsuit.
She issued an apology and decided to leave the group in November 2020. She was found not guilty of the alleged crime in August 2021. At the same time, she attempted a comeback as a trot singer but was unsuccessful. Later that year, it was revealed that a man several years older than her had filed for divorce in court. She admitted she had registered her marriage in June 2020, months before BLACKSWAN debuted.
Due to the controversies, she appears to be out of the entertainment industry for the time being.
