He made his debut in 2012 as part of the 27th open recruitment for comedians at KBS. He won the Rookie Award at the 2014 KBS Entertainment Awards and slowly began obtaining more prominent roles in "Gag Concert".
He enlisted for his mandatory military service in February 2016 and was discharged in February 2018 after serving as a social worker. He did not return to "Gag Concert", opting to become a singer and open a small theater.
He is currently represented by JGC Entertainment (JGC엔터테인먼트).
