Wang Yang is a Chinese actress born in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. She graduated from the Performance Department of the Central Academy of Drama. As soon as she entered the entertainment industry, she starred in many films and was recognized by many famous directors as the most expressive new actor.

In 2011, she participated in the movie "No Liar, No Cry" that was shortlisted for the Tokyo Film Festival. In the same year, she starred in the British film "Fall" and became the first among the new actors from the same period to enter the international filming industry.
