Kitti fell ill with many congenital diseases such as enlarged heart, coronary artery disease and diabetes. He began to be sick since the middle of 1998 with cerebral sclerosis, causing paralysis, but after a long treatment, the symptoms began to improve, until he was able to move his body and come back to work again. But he decided to retire from being a TV drama producer.
In 2006, Kitti became ill again. During that time, he had to go in and out of the hospital on a regular basis. He fell into a coma and died at 1:00 AM on April 18 , 2007, at the age of 66 years old.
