She returned to Korea at the age of 13. She placed 1st overall in the National Youth Athletic Competition in 2013. She won the bronze medal in the team event at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta. She place 1st in the national team selection in 2021 and the plan is for her to represent South Korea at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
