Nam Goong Hoon is a South Korean is a professional manager and CEO of Kakao Games alongside Cho Gye-hyun. Kakao Games is video game publisher and a subsidiary of Kakao that specializes in developing and publishing games on PC, mobile, and VR platforms. Nam graduated from Gyeongbok High School in 1991 and then he graduated from Sogang University with a degree in business administration in 1997.

He spent his childhood in Samoa and Hawai'i following his father who was a diplomat. While working for Samsung, he developed a friendship with Kakao board chairman Kim Beom-soo. Both founded "Hangame", which later merged with Naver Corp. to become NHN. At NHN, he served as the head of the Korean game and the head of the US corporation.
In 2010, he served as CEO of CJE&M's game business division (now Netmarble). In 2012, he moved to Wemade Entertainment as CEO. In 2015, he acquired "Engine", a game distribution platform company. After Kakao took over "Engine" in 2015, he served as the vice president of Kakao's game business and since June 2016 he is the CEO of Kakao Games.
