Yan Yi Zhi is a Chinese director, music producer and actor, formerly known as Yan Ling. Born in Hong Kong and grew up in the United States, he has now settled down in Beijing. He is the son of Hong Kong director and writer Yan Hao, and the grandson of Tang Ren.

In 2005, he made his debut in the film "Mandarin Duck Butterfly" directed by his father Yan Hao. He was also responsible for the original soundtrack and theme song of the film. In 2013, he directed the MV of Lin Xi's "We".

In October 2020, he won the 4th Pingyao International Film Festival Momo Qingyun Script Award for "The Boy Who Counted Cars".
