Edna Vida is is a dancer and actor in the Philippines. Her choreographies have been performed locally and internationally with outstanding acclaim. She served as principal dancer, choreographer, and artistic director of Ballet Philippines for more than two decades. Upon retirement, she choreographed and directed major productions for CCP and prominent international projects.

Edna’s innumerable talents brought her to various fields. As an actor, she appeared in leading roles for CCP’s Tanghalang Pilipino and Labfest, where she also directed a play. She had two solo exhibits as a visual artist and served as columnist, dance critic and featured writer for The Philippine Star, The Manila Times, Business Daily, the CCP Encyclopedia, Town & Country, and NCCA publications. She was a grantee of the Asian Cultural Council of the Rockefeller Foundation in New York in 2012.
