He auditioned in mid-2012 and joined the crew as part of the 1st class later that year when another member was serving in the military. They became well-known in the country in 2016, when they won the Body Rock Dance Competition in the United States, thanks to their precise synchronization. The following year, they were contestants in season 12 of "America's Got Talent" but were eliminated in the quarterfinals. Then, in 2018, the performed at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. In 2022, they entered Mnet's "Street Man Fighter" and ended up as the show's winner.
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on July 25, 2023, and was discharged on January 20, 2025. He also works as an instructor at Just Jerk Academy.
