Ota Haruka is a former Japanese idol under Hello! Project as a former 7th generation member of ANGERME and a former member of Hello Pro Kenshuusei Hokkaido.

In 2015 prior to participating in the Hello! Project "Hokkaido Gentei" Member Audition, she was enrolled at Theatre Academy. Through the school she was a member of the units Ribbon Girls, who promoted the local Hokkaido soda Ribbon Napolin, and Clione.

She was officially introduced as one of the first seven members on July 30 at the Hello! Project 2016 SUMMER ~Sunshine Parade~ concert in Sapporo

On November 23, 2018 she was revealed as a new member of ANGERME
On February 28, 2020 it was announced that she has been suspended from all activities for an indeterminate amount of time due to rule violations.
On October 13, 2020 she withdrew from ANGERME, but would remain in Hello! Project as a soloist to take daily lessons and make efforts to start anew.
On April 6, 2022 UP-FRONT PROMOTION announced that she has left Hello! Project and ended her exclusive contract with the agency at the end of March 2022 to concentrate on her studies Edit Biography
