Before debuting, he spent time as a trainee at CUBE Entertainment and became the youngest contestant in "Show Me The Money Season 6". He was eliminated in the semifinals. He later joined the project group OGZSCHOOL in a collaboration between CUBE and Starship Entertainment. The trio debuted in January 2018 with the digital single, "OGZ", but disbanded later that year.
He made his debut as a solo artist in July 2019 with the digital single, "ID Schoolboy Pt. 1". He also collaborated on PENTAGON's Hui single "Wake Me Up". In 2022, he was revealed as a member of pre-debut group TRAINEE A under BigHit Music. However, after much expectation, the group was cancelled.
He became a trainee for THEBLACKLABEL (더블랙레이블) and was picked by rapper and producer Teddy to be part of the new co-ed group he was forming.
He made his debut in June 2025 as ALLDAY PROJECT's rapper with their first single album, "Famous".
