Yoon Hoo is the son of South Korean singer-songwriter and television personality Yoon Min Soo. He graduated from Elite Open Campus Korea and is currently enrolled in the Business Administration program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He first appeared on TV in 2013 as part of the cast of MBC's "Dad! Where Are We Going?" alongside his father. He made a return to TV in 2022, appearing in variety shows and releasing a single with Sam Kim. In 2025, he was accepted in an American university and moved there to study.
