People most likely feel a type of way because writers for female centric plots put the women at a certain height, which isn't a problem but the way they do it is often flawed one way or another because they don't give them there status in the same way writers would naturally give male characters. They give it at the expense of characters around them or they cheapen it by doing things like telling not showing or showing without telling how(or just not doing either of those well enough to convince the viewer)

I know very well I won't drop this but it is purely just to see how bad this can go. In all honesty there is very little they can do to fix this show for me unless the characters do a 180 more specifically the FL. If somehow the Fl wakes up the very first scene of episode 10 and tell 2Ml she doesn't like him but rather like ML and then they go from there together to tackle life challenges then maybe this could rise up to be basic. But even that still leaves a sour taste in my mouth so idk

This is really an exhibit of poor writing because the premise and even the presence of the 2ml is perfectly fine in what I presume to be the source material : Life as we know it. In the original although it's a movie so different lengths and beats you can accept the relationship with the 2ml u can enjoy the family building u can understand the struggle with them raising a baby TOGETHER and their own personal struggles in character and life. But here? Some straight BULLL

Having 2 enemies that are enemies of each other allows for them to fight each other. If she dies then where will the power that she had go? It's not like the king has the power to bring those ministers to his side easily especially when there is another power in the court and the military (prince Duan). I do see where you are coming form though since if she is kept alive she will focus on Ml and Fl more since she has seen how much they have done j the shadows so far and heard his entire speech about being a puppet. Gotta think of the future, the kingdom has internal conflict and they are the weakest party if they kill the empress then they have to directly go against 2ML(Forgot his name) and just kff the current situation you can tell them going directly against him isn't a good idea

Um pretty sure you're wrong, what she thought was that he was a real person and that she was a 2d character. So essentially she thought the way that they view yonger he viewed them, which would then essentially make it impossible for them to win because he would know all that they would do since they would of been characters in a book with a already laid out story

I really dislike these cuts. They keep showing sehoon with myo jin but we can't get the full picture because obviously he has something with tae in and it seems this is going to be even worse in next episode because he keeps saying its complicated but we can't see why exactly.

Even in these two episodes they showed care towards each other too so it didnt really feel too much like a breakup

I think it's good she put it out this early, they only have 5 days there and this is day 3 I think? Or atleast 2, so it gives him time to digest it and look at her for who she is . As for his mum I think it's mostly about the fact that she is older and legit just that, I think most older people in Korea takes the age thing seriously when it comes to women. Hopefully things go well for them though
