Hi, thank you for your comment. :) Can I have a few questions?1] You mentioned that the ML being toned-down was…
1. They unnaturally overpowered the fl at the expense of the ml. The original script was changed, which is why he ends up being sidelined. What should have belonged to him was instead given to the fl. In the mansion, his emotional is for the brazier that contained a substance that influenced the mind.
2.My only conclusion is that she does not love him that much. Instead of waiting for him while he settled his matters within his family, just as she herself had time to resolve issues within hers, she chose to leave. In truth, she wanted to leave him from the very beginning. This is clear for the fact that she never once told him she loved him, not even during his most vulnerable moments. But rather than being honest about her intentions, she first had sex with him and then chose to leave him with only a letter. Some people argue that she did this to force him into making a choice so that he would not become a future corrupted version of himself like his father but that would make no sense since she herself is becoming a colder and insensible version of her own family leader, and yet she remains within her family. That would makes her actions very hypocritical. By leaving the horse, she was essentially saying: You can still have me, but only if you abandon everything. She framed the situation entirely to her own advantage. Either he loses her, or he gives up his new (even if terrible but still) family to enter another terrible family with prejudice and limitetion toward man. In every outcome, he is the one who loses. While she do nothing for him. Very manipulative.
exactly. He just wanted to be loved and feel like he belonged. And he genuinely felt that with Rong Shan Bao despite…
He wanted to stay and help his family but she put him in a position where if he stay he had to give up to her. Becouse instead of waiting for him she wanted to leave him. So a manipulative choice.
I won’t say Glory is a bad script, this drama has a lot of potential, same goes with his character. it just…
Oh no. No. Litc is even worse than glory, if you ask me. In glory, his character at least had his moments at the beginning, even if he was butchered later. In LITC, his character was consistent, at least for most of the drama but his story, emotions, and overall presence were completely ignored for the same reason as here, making the other character shine. The entire drama reframed the fl as more important, even when he was the one actually driving the events. But I’d better not bring my displeasure with other drama onto his page. I like balanced relationships and story, or maybe even slightly tilted toward him, since he is the main lead (both in billing and in the supposed story). That’s why those dramas that are 100% onesided (and even the wrong side) don’t really suit my taste. Still, I’ll continue to cheer for HMH and his roles, hoping that one day he’ll truly be the protagonist of his own drama. That drama will rock! Productions better will notice that soon.
It depends. Do you consider leaving everything behind for one-sided love a happy ending? i wont tell you if it's the ml or fl to do that, since it doesn't matter which one. Just one of them do this for the other that dont do anything.

The character was fantastic, charming, stongh and brilliantly clever. He had infinite potential, and even the couple shared a great dynamic at the beginning. But when he returned to his role, they chose to defy logic to create a one-sided empowerment at the expense of the true protagonist and the story’s overall coherence. This fail wouldn’t have hurt so much if it hadn’t been so good in the beginning.
Sometimes I really wonder if they ever give Hmh’s character the time, space, and value he rightfully deserves in his own drama, can you imagine how amazing that drama would be? Let’s hope that one day they do justice to his work and his characters.
Think about the ending. Even if the Duke’s residence was heaven on earth with loving family members, LJL would…
He never wanted to stay in that house, he would have left after settling the most urgent matters, he just wanted her to stay with him until then. Even if she didn't want to stay, she could have even left, telling him that she was waiting for him. But no. She said, “Our ways are separate, goodbye,”and it was something she wanted to do from the start, still "play" with him in meantime without letting him know beforehand. And then left him a fast horse, as if to hint, you can still stay with me If you leave everything behind, or nothing to be done between us. Wrost kind of partner to have.
Since Glory ended, here’s an update of Neo’s characters and their living status and misery status. 😆https://x.com/tmshinee6v6/status/2011767039598477659?s=46&t=uz5jDRWlGzE90XHFkDAn2QThis…
After watching Glory and Litc and seeing the women he ends up with in his “happy ending,” I found him more miserable there than in any of the worst bad endings he’s ever had. This table isn’t accurate. 🤔
maybe thats the time he had stomach problem. i think he just finished his surgery and it didnt recover properly.…
Police no, but at the very least, they should have replaced him/her. Neo fans even started a campaign to make the change, but it simply vanished into nothing.

They really do scare me. They didn’t even bother to save face by thanking him, the first billing, after working so hard while sick. They just ignored him. 🤷♀️
Somebody enlighten me on how a female-centric drama became an issue when the story’s focal point is the female…
In Legend of Zhang Hai, the female lead is not the first billing, and romance is not even a tag in that drama. Here, the story is about a smart and strong male lead investigating in a matriarchal background while cooperating with the fl. If you check the synopsis, it is male lead oriented. This is the drama they sold to viewer at least. A ml/fl cooperation, not onesided second billing story.
Gosh I pray YZ is just taking it to the bottle with his nonsense. He’s asking viewers to run the episodes up…
If YZ wanted a second season, he should have given us the LJL he promised. He didn’t? He and his 20 million views can go and meet the same end he forced on the original LJL in the real script.

Hahaha!!! Surely not! After he went to the hospital the first time (because he went at least twice, once at the wrap-up), he still came back to continue working. And they made him redo a scene 22 times? the next day. It was the scene in which he was soaked in water and pulled up by wires from his waist over and over again (and he had stomach problems, by the way). All of this for the 2-second scene we see in episode 1 or 2, when Rsb pulls him up in the dream and he wakes up. At the wrap-up then he went to the hospital again, and at the party no one even mentioned him or thanked him for his work. So I definitely wouldn’t bet on them changing the script for his health. The merit for the bad characterization is all on the screenwriter, the producer, and YZ, of course.
He woke up with no memory, without knowing who he was, in an unknown place, with no one who recognized him, severely injured and reduced to working as a disposable stable boy. Yet he never wavered. His indomitable will, exceptional skills, and genius-level mind allowed him to achieve the impossible and rise again.
Now the question is: what could bring such a strong-willed, unbeatable man to the state we see in episode 30? Will it truly be something so insurmountable, even more devastating than everything he already endured? Or will this simply be another excuse to once again elevate the fl at the expense of the ml?
We’ll see in the next episodes, but considering the horrific situation he survived before, memoryless, badly injured, alone yet still overcame everything through sheer intelligence and physical and mental skill, I find it hard to believe there is anything worse than that, or anything he couldn’t overcome with his exceptional skills. Which makes me think it will be the latter. 😒
I hope for a happy ending. LJL marry the master daughter and make a great career and Rsb become the new cold, mean granny of her tea family. Everyone got what they deserve.

He is still his agent, as far as I know.
