I hate that they added go go squid 2 in the title because now it's unecessarily long, but i guess they want to attract the audience who liked go go squid. reminds me of when they changed The Pillow Book to Eternal Love of Dream.

before i started the drama i thought it was after. i think youre right though bc it seems Dt is currently in the robot competition and have been asked to join appledog's team(but ofc he ends up joining K&K).

This is a spinoff so it's set in the same universe as go go squid and the characters know each other, but it has its own storyline(hence the robot competition).
