"- Did anyone else clapped a bit when Korn, Gus, Earth and Aek showed up in that rainy scene all zombie hunter like? Same." MEEEEE. I was like omg we get a badass team??? And of course they were the PE students haha.
bruh am I the only one wondering why the hell they never mentioned Night or Win again when they got separated
I assumed it was because if Night or Win had made it, they would have reunited with the group. When they split up, they knew not everyone will make it so I guess they accepted it when not everyone showed
OK, I advise you go and re-read my commentary again, you didn't get it so the only thing you can't get over is…
No, it's you who needs to re-read your own review. Unless you can debunk my observation and tell me where exactly I lie or got it wrong? You, yourself, said, "There is no point in that there is no anything in it, only hopelessness packed in gore and disgust, ... I probably don't like zombie movies, how could I actually like a zombie series. I mean maybe it is still waiting for me to discover.. " How many times did you mention and hate on it for being "gore" and "disgusting"? Go back and re-read your own scrambled thoughts. One read through was enough for me.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I can't get over the fact that you knew you were coming to watch a zombie series, yet you complain about its gory and disgusting nature. Did you expect rainbows, unicorns, and sparkles? If it's not a genre you like, but gave it a chance because of the actors, then so be it, but criticizing a zombie series for being a zombie series is crazy. It's giving hate. It's like going to the movies to watch a horror movie and complaining about there being ghosts, or going to watch a vampire series and complaining about them biting each other's necks. And I'm not even saying you can't complain; you can, it's just illogical to underrate a show because you don't like the genre you came for.
Yim always delivers! LOL So far the backstory drags but the zombie and students moments are interesting. I'm enjoying this one so far though I'm only on ep2
Can you give me another BL series with the same genre and level just like what you said? Because as far as I know…
OP's key words were 'similar plots' and 'Thailand' so they weren't talking BL exclusively. It's true that there are horror series with lead protagonists being shamans or able to see ghosts so there's no originality there, which is 100% more than okay. The combination may be new to the Thai BL scene, which kudos to the team, but on a whole series scale, it's not original
I'm on ep4 and am conflicted about who I should be rooting for as well. So far, the story is very predictable, the lead characters are selfish, and nothing really stands out. Ciar seems to be the only character that reminds us he's a vampire. Everyone else feels like flat characters.
Knowing that Boun wrote and produced this series (since 2021) makes me want to watch it in support of him. But seriously...once the rights were transferred to GMMTV, I was disappointed and knew it was going to be a let-down. GMMTV's quality series have been declining (out of 20 series, they'll have maybe 5 series at most that are worth watching), and I was afraid Boun's series would become something unserious with a lot of skinship/NC scenes. I can see from the reviews that I'm not wrong. I will still give this series a chance someday, but only if I have time to kill. Thank you for your review!
Happy Halloween!
