Legend of Mi Yue lived up to my expectations. I loved Sun Li and Liu Tao's performance there. For me the story is not dragging. It's kinda too long cos it's 81 eps but I freakin' ship the FL to the second male lead (her second husband). Prepare some tissues cos you'll cry a lot. Overall LMY is one of my favorite period drama.

Listen to the last 6 second of the music piece, the tune is a bit similar but the beat isn't. LXC is much like a flowy kind of piece than RN.

Agree with that! Wanna see more dramas with Khitan culture involved. Just love their hair styles! The Promise of Chang'an gets negative reviews though. They kept comparing these two. I haven't seen it, never will I. I'm kinda seeing Legend of Mi Yue in this drama.
