Top and Ray have so many similarities - Come from rich families - Wild social lives - Addicts - Fell in love with the same person
Whats the main difference? One is actively trying to change for the better while the other is only self-destructing and also now bringing others down with him. Yet, one gets sympathy while the other doesn't? I know that cheating is horrible and Top 100% deserves all the hate he gets for it but are we not going to acknowledge the fact that he is willing to change? Ray also has his own share of horrible things he has done such as issues with consent (ie: non-consensually kissing Mew in his sleep), drunk-driving, etc. But it seems like a large majority always has something or uses his addiction/past to excuse his behavior.
The Top that we have seen in the last few episodes isn't the same one we're used to all season. Do u really think egotistical, proud Top would allow Mew to humiliate him the way he has in the last episode? I actually felt bad for him for the first time this series. Im personally here for his redemption arc.
Ray on the other hand definitely needs therapy and some time to just focus on himself. SandRay have amazing chemistry and it pains me to say this but they do not need to be together. Sand genuinely deserves better and Ray needs to just focus on his well-being.
In conclusion, my favorite thing about this series is that there are no black and white characters. They're all somewhat in the gray and it just pushes me to root for them even more.
sooo confused at some comments about ray acting as if he's as bad as top and boston when it reality ray never…
Yes, I agree that what they had is causal. But if he can go for Mew then why is he stopping Sand in the preview? Its almost like he's telling Sand he doesnt want him but also won't let anyone else have him either? Its selfish.
Sand knows too, though. He knows and he just keeps on. To be fair though I'm much madder at Ray for the preview…
Thats true, Sand does know. And thats why I said "some" sympathy. Maybe its cuz Boston has been more vocal and straight-forward and Nick has also gotten more warnings so I tend to see the situations a little differently.
But yes completely agree with ur 2nd paragraph, its the no accountability and spoiled child aspects of Ray that frustrate me the most.
I feel like some people's love for the actor completely overshadow how they judge the characters.
Y'all hate on Top or Boston (granted they are bad) but Ray is kinda just as bad? He doesn't get as much backlash as he should imo. Ofc no character is perfect and they all have their own flaws but the different treatment Ray gets is very telling. The hypocrisy I see from some stans is funny lol.
If we're being really honest, the only characters that deserve some sort of sympathy are Sand and Mew. I feel bad for Nick too but the only reason Im not adding him is because he knew what he was getting himself into. Boston might be an asshole but he has been honest to him since the beginning.
Its really sad that Mew was doubting himself and putting the blame on himself for Top cheating. This is why cheating is so painful, it can really mess with your partner's self-worth 💔
I think its time the over criticism of ForceBook is put to rest. After today's episode, my opinion has changed and I feel like they are doing their characters justice. I just think compared to the other actors or couples in the show, their couple was more on the lighter side and this is probably why most found them boring. But they genuinely did great in the ending scene of ep6. Book and Khaotung were definitely the standouts this episode thou 👏
The chaos that we were all waiting for is finally here and Im loving it 🔥😂😂
Or maybe stop being actors. I mean it's been their 3rd drama if I'm not pistaken and they are still bad at acting.…
I don’t think they’re horrible to the point that they should stop acting lol.
Honestly I don’t really ever go into a Thai BL show expecting amazing acting…the only reason it’s more obvious here is cuz the others are doing so well. But they also do have more experience so we have to consider that too.
I just think they should be given more opportunities to grow. And the type of shows and the chance to work with others would help with that greatly.
I hope GMMTV gives ForceBook more opportunities to work with other actors/actresses. Their scenes with the other actors are significantly better then the ones they have together (especially Force).
Maybe them not having chances to explore their acting potential has a part in this, because literally every single show of theirs since they started has been together. Or maybe its because of the roles they're playing cuz their previous ones were more light hearted. Either way they need to brush up on those skills cuz its showing when they're put in a big cast like this.
(Or maybe we're all wrong and their characters are supposed to perceived exactly the way they have been and there is a big twist in the end. If its intentional then they're doing a great job lol.)
I kinda feel like Atsuki isn't getting the hype he deserves. Kouhei is handsome af no doubt, but Atsuki is probably one of the most gorgeous male leads I've seen in BL. Its a plus that they have amazing chemistry and are great actors.
It kinda reminds me of BrightWin when 2gether was airing and everyone was going crazy for Bright even thou Win was so good looking aswell lol.
I still can't get over how badly they messed up this show. I honestly enjoyed the first 2-3 episodes but then it all kinda went downhill from there. Fanservice is fine...its a way to sell the show and I get that but at the expense of ruining the whole show? 😕 There is literally no plot/story development. The toxicity is not addressed, miscommunication is still there, barely any character development and there is literally ONLY 3 EPISODES left. 🤦🏽♀️
I expected lots of fanservice because its produced and directed by Aof (Domundi/Mandee creator)...this man is literally known for pushing/encouraging excessive amounts of fanservice on his actors. But this is to the point that it's uncomfortable to watch. If ur gonna make a show then atleast prioritize the plot over just adding makeout scenes the whole episode. It's repetitive and boring now tbh. There is a reason KinnPorsche took their #1 spot on Thailand/Worldwide trends.
And non-show related opinion but Zee is too good of an actor to still be doing this...he has enough clout to do challenging/different roles and still get the same amount of attention. He honestly deserves a better company that can not only manage his career better but take legal action for the unnecessary hate he gets. And I'm sure there are companies that would take him (probably already fighting for him). But oh well its his choice at the end of the day 🤷🏽♀️

I was just comparing how both couples are known as visual couples and one lead seemed to have gotten more appreciation then the other lol.
