I don't think I have watched a reincarnation drama before. Why would it be hard to pull off? It seems pretty easy for this drama because all they need is some child actors and then a time skip.

It's just a melon and WAY has two other dramas that he's already been rumoured for so idk how that's gonna work

It would be strange for WYB to do this drama because the fanwars would be insane and it seems like he would want to get higher billing but I'm pretty sure first billing will always be ZLS for this drama

To be fair the rumours for the start of filming were the end of november to the start of december. We may see filming start pretty soon cause ZLS said it was gonna be soon but then again she is the most unreliable source 😂

I srsly doubt the authenticity of the rumour. wu lei said he would take a break next year and wang yibo well- it's very unlikely. Another possible candidate is wang junkai but i don't think he would want to do a xianxia, especially on such short notice. I also dont think Jing boran is the type to fight over billing, as he usually lets the FLs take the spotlight.

She will not run away. This drama was pretty much created around her and it's not like thyre mistreating her, if she didn't like it she- 1: would've quit and 2: not have invited the producer to her birthday party. It seems like she actually enjoys working with producer YXP

Apparently it's not WHD, WAY, and WL. So Wang Yibo? Wei Daxun? WDX is not rlly a liuliang... But WYB's fans kinda scare me... I'm not sure why they replaced JBR with a high traffic star for the sake of billing issues. Since i would expect two high traffic stars to have billing issues.

Its definitely JBR there is no rumours for other actors so theres no way they can pull an actor outta thin air

Ive been confused. Chang Heng is not rlly a character thats exists in the novels (I just found out bc i havent read Orchid and Cang)... He is an original character created for the drama. I'm pretty sure Chang Heng is based of Moxi the god of war from the original novel. But Moxi is not in a love triangle with Orchid and DFCQ, instead he is already married at the start of the novel. But yeah if you wanna read it its called "Sansheng, Wangchuan Wu Shang" its a tragedy very true to jlfx style.

They are both written by the same author (九鹭非香). I'm not sure if it's a shared universe in the novel, as i don't remember Chang Heng being in the original novel. In the dramas it is definitely a shared universe. The author did write a well recieved novel about Chang Heng which is definitely a shared universe with LBFAD and the plot is very similar to Love You Seven Times (almost like a prototype). However I don't see it being adapted due to controversial themes.

I'm certain this drama will be popular but im a bit worried about whether it will be cliche or cringey considering the history of the director and screenwriter... As long as they follow the source material it will be fine i think
