The costume, acting, plotline, the ost and background music and especially the CGI, all exceeded my expectation. Because this drama is a S+ project of IQIYI (high budget drama), the production was really well done, as someone who has watch hundreds of C-Drama in the past 4 years there are some parts of the CGI that REALLY impressed me especially the ones in episode 2 but not going to mention it as i don't want to spoil it for anyone. PLease watch the drama on the Iqiyi official app (you can download it for free) or watch on the iqiyi you tube channel to support the drama and crew official. Can't wait for tmr!!
I recommend you all to check it all, even if you are not a fan of any of the actors or actress here, I'm sure at least some of you would continue watching it for the plotline, the visuals or the CGI and who knows you might find this drama a rare gem so make sure to check it out! I think so too as iqiyi also wrote "LOVE BETWEEN FAIRY AND DEVIL is coming soon on iqiyi" in the description box (in the latest trailer video). I'm glad they changed it, it's at least better than "eternal love" which have been used too many times.

Im a big fan or Esther yu ever since "l've fallen for you" came out and I have been following this drama ever since the cast were confirmed back in the start of February of 2021. The filming wrapped around June so it had been around 10 months ever since it was in post production, ik it's a big project of iqiyi but it's been 10 months! 😫 Hope it aired soon, it's been almost a year since a last saw Esther yu in a drama [latest one I saw was moonlight in may of 2021 😭😭] really hoping for a miracle to release this drama in May~
I need a second season so badlyyyyyy, there's a chance for a season 2 because in every ep they mentioned season 1 ep __ and also in the last ep they mentioned "End of season 1" it can be considered as a hint for season 2 I guess... There are also so many questions that have yet to be answered and in the last ep xu feng nian mentioned the "real revenge" after killing han daosi and we have no idea who was the other person that was a part of assassinating his mother and also what happened to Jiang Ni?? and also will they meet again?? Xu Xiao and Xu fengnian haven't met after xu xiao received the edict from the emperor and so on~~ i love the drama, no dragging at all, an AMAZING plot, so many characters with the interesting plots of their own, the personality and the way xu feng nian think and plan so i thought to myself "damn he would be a scary enemy to have" and ofc the relationship between him and his father which is so different from most of the father and son relationship in other cdrama. I honestly thought the colouring of the drama would bother me but i didn't. I so badly appreciate zhang ruoyun presence and acting and the way he potrayed xu feng niang, tbh i only watch one of his drama before which is "Joy Of Life" but after "Sword Snow Stride" i have become a supportive fun of his (i need to compliment whoever did his outfit and hair in it, it LOOKS SO FRICKING GOOD ON HIM <3). REALLY hope for a season 2. In my opnion I rate it a10/10. you guys shouldn't think twice, give it a shot maybe u will like it, give more attention to the plot and also warning.. very little and slow-burned romance. i stayed up binge-watching it till 6 in the morning it's that good ;)
