How /sad/ is this? I don't mind scary horror, but Korean horror has a way of being incredibly depressing, e.g.…
I'd say more on the existential side. They like to weave human stories into their horror. The horror side of this is not very scary, so if you want that you will be disappointed.
Kdrama - Secret https://kisskh.at/7761-secret For a villainous ML. And he is really really nasty to the FL at first because he thought she killed his fiancee. Bonding through shared trauma kind of romance I would say.
I don't see any BLs on your list, so I didn't recommend the Untamed, but I think it's worth a watch even if BLs aren't your thing because that aspect is pretty in-between-the-lines. It can be a bit hard to get into though, because they flash back 16 years at episode 3 or so and don't get back to 'the present' till episode 31 or so
I won’t touch this then lol. Are you going to watch or have watched The Blue Whisper? Would love to know your…
The Blue Whisper has much much better CGI - they clearly had a higher budget - than LBFAD. However, romance-wise or characters'-wise I don't find it refreshing or as interesting as LBFAD. Lots of the usual misunderstanding sort of plotline.
curently at epissode 19 and im getting bored..... will it get better or should i drop it? my main problem is the…
If that's what you're getting from it at ep 19, I think that you should drop it. The drama has more nuance than what you have described but I don't think that it is connecting with you.
I’m trying to give this a chance but she literally behaves and sounds like 6 year old child.
I was also annoyed at first - just keep in mind that she isn't stupid, she's naive. A sheltered indoor plant. She learns very quickly after she gets out in the world.
Like, when I think about the Orchid-is-a-goddess reveal, I'm so let down. Orchid doesn't get to find out, so she…
I was comparing it the whole time to Love and Redemption as well but for me LBFAD was way way better than Love and Redemption. The pacing, the strength and depth of the characters' personalities, the costumes, the music, the cast chemistry, the variety of relationships, everything was better imo (even if still not perfect).
Love and Redemption rehashed the same misunderstanding plot 6-8 times, I found the ML pathetic , there was a terrible 2ML in Dijun, and a bland masked villain with one-dimensional goals... And if ppl had a headache with the infantile voice and actions of the FL in this one, boy the one in Love and Redemption will give them a stroke.
I am still really kinda of angry with myself for even finishing that series. The pay-off was not worth the hours leading up to it.
Based on your liking of LBFAD, I'd recommend:
Cdrama - Who Rules the World
https://kisskh.at/54851-try-the-world
for another healthy power couple drama.
Kdrama - Secret
