I just finished this. I was in disbelief. I thought Kikuchi was just "in the moment" and would realize he should just go TALK to Mob...but even though I wasn't like sure what to think about Hatano (look I always had a crackship for Toji secretly wanting both brothers but...that's his actor doing all that to my brain, Akihisa Shiono is just that sly yet good I swear...)

But at the end, I can almost see WHY things ended the way it did. Mob is only human, after all. He's going to want love and company just as much as the next person...and honestly I think it worked out just fine. It's funny to think of Mob forever fighting the "good fight" but having him enjoy himself and being happy instead of always stressing out....that is something I think is the best.

(or maybe this will be erased like in S3 and everything will return to chaos. We may never know)

On The Journey to Killing You Mar 21, 2026
Finally got around to watch this. Wada Masanari (Kataoka) is someone I've seen in a LOT of work (Aitsu ga Kamite de Shimote ga Boku, Tousute stages, Real⇔Fake and GenePro★7 to name a few) but while he mostly plays in more "hinted" roles (Aitsu ga Kamite de Shimote ga Boku, and Engeki Success comes to mind) this is really more extreme.

And nothing wrong with that! I think it's great to see actors push their limits, but I'm really surprised they didn't pair him with his bestie/partner, Aramaki Yoshihiko. Those two are always joined at the hip.

Regardless, this was a very interesting series. I admit there was time I wasn't able to take Wada seriously because I've seen him in so many more "sillier" works but when he gets focus...he nails it perfectly. Definitely will be watching this again (and I'm glad more people are finding out about him honestly. He's such an amazing actor)

I can't say much for Takahashi Hiroto as I haven't seen him outside this, but he played Odajima on point. I would love to see him in more works in the future (maybe with Wada again…?)

I'm curious to know if this has ever got subbed or will be subbed? I have the bluray so even the srt files would be perfect if they are out there.... (I just like to finish the series and understand it if possible but if not...I'll ad-lib and do my best. 😆)

On The Shortest Distance Is Round Aug 16, 2022
Just finished watching both versions (gagaoolala is my legit place to watch things but if there is another legal site that can feed me Japanese BL/Gay movies or series plz share).

Noir really hits at the end where Blanc gives off that "the feels" you wish was in Noir but it also seems to be reaching. Noir definitely had the right tone all the way to the end. It wasn't going to be a happy ending type movie (well not that fluffy type of happy we got in Blanc) I really was impressed by the whole cast. Everyone played their parts perfectly.

If you want that more "Gay" movie over "Yaoi"(aimed more at women I guess?) type then this is the movie for you. I wish there was more movies like this honestly.

Title Noise
Its online in Europe only- for only a week I believe and its subbed! I wish I was over there to watch it but I can't (I don't live in Europe) but at least I would share for others to be able to see it!

Search up the Far East Film Festival 24 for more details.
