Your review is exactly the same as I thought. To be honest, im little disappointed with this drama. story wise is good already. the executions of the actors just mehhh imo. Liu Haocun expression is so lacking. I couldnt say much abt SWL tho cuz i never like his acting. The only reason I watched this drama is only because of the story. And youre right! Ao ruipeng and the rest of cast really carries this drama. I even told my friend the same thing who watch this. Both lead are meh but the rest are so good.

How to know drama tiers? What consider s+ tiers drama other than budget? Im new to chinese drama so thanks in advance for your insights.

I've been pick up and drop this drama for several times already until that one tiktok mention abt how good it was but then watching till the end made me realized there were so much better than this one and your review definitely mirror my mind. it's not that good as most people said but still enjoyable to watch tho some part were a bit draggy in my opinion and quite rushing to the end
