I think they might not use it but it would love to be proven wrong. Really. This episode was super triggering to me, so I would be more than happy if someone proved to me that it was CGI. When I googled 'China', 'animal abuse', I found an article about the 'Romance of Three Kingdom' and I'm super scared it might have happened here too.
