I hope to one day see "Victor" starring in his own series, preferably BL. π
Tanwa's expressions are hilarious and just the comic relief I need after stressing out about Krailert and Naran. I love them as a couple, and my heart pounds when I watch them, but I'm so afraid for them. Since Son and Euro are actual lakorn actors, I know they most likely won't be appearing together as lovers-who-get-a-happy-ending in another gay series anytime soon, so I'll just enjoy the hell out of them in this one. β€οΈβπ₯
I was very pleasantly surprised to read during the end credits that Ryan Tedder is executive producer on a few of the songs (including "Far Side of the Moon" and "Am I in Love"). I love a lot of his music and am happy that he's a part of the OST β€οΈ
I haven't been this excited about a series in a long time! I didn't realize how much I missed Apo and Mile until seeing them together again, and I'm especially loving Krailert and Naran π₯π₯π₯
This definitely could have been way better if they made it full on BL instead of just subtext but w.e. just my…
Tian Yu found out that A Xiang died the night of the Fireworks Festival at the same time he learned that A Xiang's given name was Run Fa -- the boy he'd been writing letters to in 2013. Turns out the red mailbox he put the letters in was magic, and the letters were being sent to 8 year-old Run Fa/A Xiang in 2003.
Tian Yu started sending a multitude of letters to young Run Fa, imploring him not to go to Taipei. Then, one day on the train, he hears surfers talking, and who should end up sitting across from him but A Xiang! However, he introduces himself as Run Fa, and Tian Yu holds eye contact with him as he says, "I'm Tian Yu." Run Fa recognizes the name and smiles.
A little ways into the credits, it cuts to a scene of the two of them sitting together, looking out at the ocean.
I would have really enjoyed a love scene, but I'm glad the characters get their happily ever after.
guys i need help im really confused abt the whole penpal thing?? was tian yu like really old when he was runfahs…
Run Fa was 8 in 2003, and Tian Yu was in graduate school (so around 22?) in 2013. This would have made him 12 in 2003, so in reality they're close in age, but the time warp made it weird.
While it's not like Tian Yu physically met an 8 year-old and later developed feelings for him, he'd still have memories of communicating with one, which makes this a very unappealing plot point.
Was that zooming in of the camera any time Dae Byeol touched Uno supposed to make us swoon? Sorry, ain't gonna happen for me if there's no chemistry (at least Mew doesn't have to worry about anyone shipping him with JM).
Uno's and Dae Byeol's "romance" is the least interesting part of this series. The other plot points -- the cold producer who doesn't recognize good content, the shady father, the caper at the end of episode 8 -- have potential.
I'm glad the episodes are short, Gi Min is freaking adorable, and I wish the doc and that reporter would hook up.
I really, really hope Kan Hideyoshi and Okuno So are in another BL as the main couple. I have nothing against Nishiyama Jun (Soga is a sweetheat), it's just that the first two bring the π₯π₯π₯
Peter is leading-man material for sure!
I wonder if Krailert will ever find out that his nephew's into a guy, too.
I loved the scene showing Trin between Victor and Tanwa (that pleasure trail beneath Tanwa's belly button π«¦)!
Victor steals every scene he's in. π
I get the feeling that Tanwa's dad cheated on his mom with Moira.

I can feel the heat radiating off their pictures, so I know they're going to be burning up our screens π₯π₯π₯
