That series is what made me aware of this movie! I just started watching it, and was immediately smitten with JC Lin. I looked him up, saw that he'd been in a gay movie, and I immediately watched it before continuing with the series. I'm so happy to be able to see these guys in something less depressing!
If Sakae looked at me the way he looked at Soga while Soga was making takoyaki (episode 2, around the 19:40 mark), I'd spontaneously combust. My God, Kan Hideyoshi is a beautiful man!

At first I was skeptical of this premise, but I'm really enjoying it so far. I'd like it if the AI was a human at one time who was revived with a brain chip or something, but as long as there's a happy ending, I'm fine if that's not the case.
I went back to review episode 4 of Stay By My Side, since these two made an appearance. The only scene I found was at around the 14:20 mark, when Bu Xia was on the little bridge on campus, and looked over and saw Yi Ping kissing his AI cutie.

Usually when watching a (*cough* Thai *cough*) series whose episodes are around an hour, I find myself frequently checking how much time is left. Not with this one! The minutes fly by and leave me wanting more.
I also didn't get the logic of fake-your-death-but-I'll-still-have-you-kidnapped.
I can't believe I cried over a murderer, either.
This series was a hot mess, but I enjoyed every minute of it!
