22 episodes in and i’m trying to understand a few negative comments. The fast pace seems to be caused by the several parts that were censored before airing. Idk, i’m enjoying it very much.
im only on episode 2 and i find it interesting how they’re are approaching his attempts to laugh/smile and his conversations with his therapist are the absolute best.
looking forward for the next episodes, they have good chemistry!
Honestly i’m not buying Wen Xiao’s plot line but i’m here for every other character. Wanna talk about bonds and love? ZYC and Bai Jiu relationship is the best example we have in this show. I cried the whole fight scene (ep 23), these two are father and son you can’t convince me otherwise! (Yinglei is the family’s little puppy)
What do you mean on the effect of dynamics of the group? Im curious is all..
Well, this is purely how i’m seeing and my opinion:
Except for the relationship between the 2 ML, I don’t see the other characters actually developing between them w/o the FL being somehow involved. Idk if you’ll get the reference, but she gives me Scorpion’s FL Paige vibes.
I feel like her presence is keeping the other, imo, more interesting characters to have more screen time and grow between them.
If you need an example, I really wish they would’ve given more time for the angst between Jiu and them to develop bc it affected the whole group etc etc.
I wish Wen Xiao was a better character. Sis is just a Mary Sue, has no relevant habilities whatsoever but ended up with the goddess thingy just bc she’s the FL and needs that so she won’t be 100% useless (I could keep going about how this is effecting the dynamics of the group but wtv).
Love the rest of the team tho. The main story and side stories for each ep are really interesting and the character development of all of them (except WX) is exceptional.
