I thought so too at the beginning, but the actual age difference between them is 5-7 years, and they started dating her 2nd year in collage, so it's not THAT awful. Though I agree they could have just skipped it altogether.

I really liked it! it was funny, full of action, and most of all friendship. everything was great, except the romance. The FL started as an independent strong woman, but became sobby and needy without any development except pining for the ML and sulking. This would have been a 10/10 without her.

This really is an underrated drama. The comedy was amazing and the acting was great. The only thing that wasn't on point for me was the chemistry between the FL and the older ML (especially at the end). Really superb comedy scenes, especially Go Woo Young's rants and fights with Go Deok Jin. couldn't stay upright!

I'm having a hard time understanding how this and Bed Friend could work in a timeline... if this one happens before…
So both novels start at the same point, but bed friend's story-line continues after the end of MML (which makes sense cuz it's about 300 pages longer). So at the beginning of bed-friend, Jade really doesn't have a bf.
