Ahhhh I'm watching Dream Within a Dream and Princess Gambit right now but this is the drama I've been craving. So well-crafted and the chemistry between Yang Zi and Li Xian is just infinite 🔥. Miles Wei adds to the heat with being such an interesting, infuriating and complex character. All the characters just have so much depth. Costuming and set design provide an exquisite stage to let the story shine. Counting the days!

I am also in despair about this. I'm just hoping MangoTV will get it together since it's such an important release. Ugh. 😢 🙏

Agreed. I wouldn't be worried if it weren't for everything ending with 40 episodes. Super anxious ending will be rushed, which ruins so many dramas. 😭 In many ways, if i had to choose, a bad ending is better to me than a rushed ending. At least we can enjoy it up until the ending then maybe pretend it didnt happen, but if the last few episodes are rushed it ruins the whole thing even worse.

I'm about to watch episode 7. I'm following on Viki's subs and refuse to watch MangoTV's. As far as I remember no details have had been revealed in that episode as to how Qi Si Le is Xuan Xuan's mom and how her daughter got separated from the Song Family.

Really curious how they will spin that the daughter is originally from the Song family. 🤔

Thank you. Easier to watch with clairfication. Feels weird to me when SJ and MY are lovers like TTG and YXW but then the other two are just coincidence I suppose. Several times the plot has me wondering if there will be love rivals for the mains but it doesn't look like it. Seems to be a trend in xianxia/xuanhuan right now as Starry Love didn't have any either.

I'm dying to find out how Tian Huan goes from being obsessed with Ming Ye to being in love with Sang You's reincarnation in the future. Like some huge piece is missing and I will be upset without explanation.

So agreed. I can fully appreciate well done side romances that have interesting characters and don't take up too much screen time ( just enough to add sweetness). Really, I can appreciate any Chinese drama where the creators were able to not get lost in dragyness, which can happen easily with side romance and my fast forward button gets wornout. Each scene in this drama has a purpose and my time never feels wasted. 💕

And as we all know, just wish they actually didn't cut the romance scenes nearly as much!!! I really hope a director's cut is released later then this drama would be perfect. 🙏

Hong Dou's voice is beautiful and soothing! Seen countless cdramas now and one of the biggest things fans seem to gripe about, next to bad dubbing, is a babyish female lead voice. Doesn't bother me, but Hong Dou's voice is the exact opposite of that and I can say it's refreshing.

Sweet Teeth. A cdrama, but a favorite of mine. Its only a few episodes between the best friends in a love triangle with FL and they remain nice to each other through all of it.
