the fact that there's probably some people in this world that have watched this already and i haven't is genuinely hurting my feelings like what the heckk
I know complaining now won't do much.. however I would much prefer that this drama airs 2 eps each day of the week like almost every other drama does. joy of life s2 had way more episodes and finished airing in 15 days. it made fans happier that way. idk what the point of stretching the airing schedule out so much is
just my opinion here - the way the episodes about the battle between haoling and Xiyan were filmed didn't even make it feel like a battle was happening. they could've at least added some scenes of the fighting (ik there was a brief one in there). I esp wanted to see A Nian fighting and commanding. instead it was all conversation upon conversation :< ... their conversations rlly made it seem like the battles were no big deal and the civilians were perfectly content with how things are going and being conquered. that's just unrealistic. it's a war. wars have losses and bloodshed.
I do have faith for this to get better tho. hopefully it does
im glad im not the only one who feels that this season is underwhelming and sort of disappointing, which confuses me since this was filmed together with season 1. the first season was so well done that I still think about some scenes even to the day (e.g. the scene with XL and XY in the ocean in ep 12, TSJ's promise to XY in ep 14, CX realizing Xiaoliu is XY, XY recognizing that FFB is actually XL in her room, etc). but there just hasn't been even one scene in this season that's impacted me the same way these did. overall it felt underdone and lacking effort.
I will still watch until the end tho. I remember skimming through the novel online (the original Chinese version) and looking forward to several scenes to be filmed, but they were not. also adding random characters to scenes where they shouldn't belong in.. does nothing but frustrate the viewers and make things awkward. I rlly hope they pull it together in these last couple of eps :(
TJ asked XL to stop the wedding and in return, TJ will give food to XLs army. Also, TJ coming to XL gave him a…
yeah I understand that part but why AT the wedding? he basically just ruined XY's reputation by doing that. he had other times when he could've stopped the wedding that TSJ asked.. idk I've been pondering this
can someone pls tell me why XL decided that it would be a great idea to stop XY from marrying CSFL at the wedding? XY already swore to do one thing for XL as long as XL asks. couldn't XL just have stopped it before the wedding? what was his objective in showing up at the literal wedding?
For those who finished watching the first season, I have a question:
Out of all the characters aside from Xiao Yao, TSJ was the only one who saw XL without his mask on (aka his true appearance). Given this, when TSJ saw XL as FFB at all the gatherings did he not recognize FFB as XL? Or did TSJ just choose not to say anything on behalf of Xiao Yao? Perhaps I missed something when I was watching it last year.
Good day to allπ I have a question here. Will there really be one episode per week?
no no the official Weibo has not posted anything about the schedule. typically cdramas won't do that... but don't take my word for it until an official announcement loll
