Didn't like the last to FSMM dramas, they were really badly executed, and only started watching because I LOVE Cheng Yi and Li Yitong but so far it's already boring, the execution of the writing seems off again, the overly dramatic, toxic father-son relationship trope China loves to overuse, the dubbing is really bad and the songs already annoy me, except of Yuning's (I don't like modern pop songs in historical/fantasy dramas anyway so that's my own problem). Rather continue watching Blood River and Whispers of Fate 😕
