In ep 20 now and gao is becoming more and more unreasonable. He has an extreme case of inferiority complex but that was getting a lil better when he decided to be independent instead of joining li xun's company but then all went down cuz of that jerk (i think his name was smthing with fang?) How does he expect li xun to just give in to fang when he knows what he did was extremely wrong and he's gonna do it again? And how is it li xun's fault that fang ended up doing all that? I don't know why he directs all his anger towards li xun when li xun is doing his best to help him?

I'm not sure if it was her acting or her character itself but she was mostly uncomfortable, confused or just existing. But it's a fine watch for chill watching imo
just finished watching the drama and my eyes are swollen from crying so much. this was great. I loved how he didn't hold back in hitting those bastards, loved everything about his revenge. I really hope Sooho is there in Season 2 cuz I won't be able to sit still without seeing him well and happy again!

just finished episode 1 and I'm totally blown away! Jihoon's acting is fr improing each project he's taking on! Also love hyun wook's character sm till now and bumseok seems so adorable but someone who has trauma. I really wish the best for these 3!

I love how consort hwang's kid turned out to illegitimate! How the fck did she think she deserved the queen position, she's so annoying. She honestly has such a punchable face, kudos to the actress! Her exceptional acting skills really made me hate her so much!

This drama deserves the top spot! It's really exceptional and very unique based on a queen who is a mother to all the princes and a generous and kind queen to all her people! You should really give it a try!
I love love loveee each episode so much! I have nothing but respect for the writer and the cast! This drama is so far pacing so well. For people who find watching political based dramas hard to watch, I think you should try just watching at least the first 30 mins of this drama. Though the politic part is the main plot for this drama, its more easy-going and based on her as a mother and being caring!

also I hate how Gao's self esteem is just dropping each episode. He just wants to do his very best and be successful and he's very hardworking too! I hate to admit it but being around ml really isn't good for him. And the ml being straightforward doesn't really help!
currently in ep 16 and I just love how the fl can stand her ground and isn't weak! I have a history of fl being weak and needed to be protected by ml in chinese dramas and they're a lot of unnecessary drama but this one till now has been exceptional! I love the chemistry between ml and fl and just love the slowburn! They complement each other so well and I just love this drama till now! But the heavy part is coming and I'm scared for what's to come!
Can't wait! Love Jung So Min in Alchemy of Souls and it's a pity she isn't there in season 2 but here! She's with haneul! Was waiting for haneul in romance!
