True everything was abrupt ,like from the bff and gf getting close to the relationship btw ml and gf .also i would have liked the characters to have much more depth .like in og movie where everything from how they got close to why the fl broke up with bf and her future ,like the og version was much well written .will choose the old movie over this anytime anywhere

I think that they can develop a uncle /mentor kinda relationship or even father kinda relationship if she's not close to her parents.20 +years age gap does feel awkward 4 me .
Anyway I do hope there's a part 2 showing their relationship as well as what happened to ml after he left

Well anyway this is what I didn't like much about this movie , everything felt abrupt.like gf and bff were not even close in the beginning,but suddenly they started having cute moments.it also partially blames his insecurity like u said unlike in the og movie where the bf and ml bff would have gotten closer no matter what.
But i liked how they changed the ending ,now kmn and ky can even develop a mentor /father/uncle kinda relationship

At first i also felt like he was being insecure and the gf and bff were just frnds in the beginning ,but after I saw it once more.it felt like tho they weren't cheating ,they did have feelings for each other .and also bro ,who wouldn't feel insecure if ur gf and bff were together late at nyt in the rain in ur locality with ur pet but didn't even bother to call him .

actually i agree with you for most of the things . i dont think she felt stuck with derek .but i think maybe because of ji hoon coming and knowing about derek secret , she lost trust in him . the reason why i felt like this was bcoz not only did she fall into depression after derek supposed death ,but also was pained when she thought about the fact that she wont be able to see him anymore even though he was alive(after 2 years skip ) .but i did feel ah reum x ji hoon more like infidelity.
actually speaking ,i felt that even though she did have great chemistry with ji hoon , she did whole heartedly love derek .
Also , i do want another season where we explore more of his cold blooded side who could work without restrictions due to family and others . maybe he can start a new spy company with a new identity so that he is not under the control of his mother or any one . then we can also introduce an other female spy who is similar to him and pair both of them (cold blooded and cruel ,but when loves some one can do anything for that person just like derek was willing to do for reum ).here not only us but ji hoon and reum can also see the real derek , the cold blooded and murderous side of him , the who can control and play with just like a kid plays with toys .
