Though, after reading your comment, thinking back through the series, I would kinda agree with you.... But... I would give Keng a tad more leeway only cuz of, well...You remember his character? In my opinion, thats probably why the production company wanted a pretty face... More or less, expressionless & set in stone. On a less desirable face, most people would find no appeal & many would probably not have watched it.
As an np fan, only namping should clarifies these issues. As he already talked about his first kiss scene.

If were in your shoes, I'd probably done the same. Me saying that about his acting in the series is purely on the basis of observation. I never said he was a bad actor, I was just merely expressing my own opinion-based observation of his acting in this particular series. But I do stand by my opinion...And that's all it is, an opinion. Neither right, nor wrong.... Not based on facts, only by what I see. So... Do I think Namping is a bad actor? No, I don't. Do I think that he could've done better? Yes, I do. No one is perfect... Not even celebrities. But everyone can always do better than their previous attempts... As well as be a better version of themselves than the previous versions.

The countryside & isolated feeling of the setting gave me A Tale of a Thousand Stars vibes... Anyone else get that feeling? Lol...😅 So, just from Khemjira series, Ubon Ratchathani looks pretty isolated and not even countryside. It seems more like BFE... Haha! 😂 Having visited both Chiang Rai & Chiang Mai (filming of A Thousand Stars), I can honestly say that both places are fairly rural. But Khemjira setting looks more isolated...Lol. *I think I found a new Thai destination to visit*
Now for the series... IT WAS FREAKING AMAZING!! Aside from Namping's stiffness in his acting (like a 2x4 in pain)... If you can look past that, then you'll LOVE this series! OK, so Namping's wasn't all terrible... but s majority of it, he was stiff & always had the same expression. Made me think of NuNew in Cutie Pie.... Which would make sense cuz it, too, was put out by the same company as Khemjira. Again, aside from Namping's stiff acting gestures & expressions, the series is really damn good! And the OST!... Such a great soundtrack.!

Understandable. I get the excitement & then disappointment of the end result that most do not agree with..But at the same time, most of the ones that first learn of it do come here or to social media & still act like it's the end of the world. It's just seems a little melodrama to me 🙄 I believe it's that part (the melodrama of it all) that I have a hard time grasping...Just makes me want to ask: "Why so dramatic?"

It actually does have English subs. Before watching/downloading, too the left of title (link), it will say either "SUB" (with Eng subs) or "RAW" (without Eng subs). Just about everything I watch or download is Eng sub.
