You went on pretty steep slippery slope with this whole post, I'm not gonna lie. Even if he had taken drugs willingly, what was done to him is disgusting and disproportionate.

i think i watched too many shows of this same dark genre and am stuck at 11th episode.. does the shows gets better…
It gets heavier/darked but yes, it will be still revenge plot, with few twists.
