I can't remember quite much of what I read. so this is not in chronological order
As far as I remember, The father of Mu Ziqi have suddenly had an amnesia something and marry someone. Only later before he died that he remembers her.
Plus when Mu Ziqi is young he actually met his father when he is trying to kill him but doesn't remember him. I don't know if the drama will follow this.
Mu Ziqi mother in what I read is an Incubus. When the heir is a daughter, the daughter inherits the power 2x or more. but when it is a male, they only inherit half I think.
but since Mu Ziqi is half demon, something rare happen. His power is not in half but I think doubles like what a daughter inherits in their kind. The side effects of this is that it absorbs its mother's energy and power. In the story, the mother is kinda having some split personality. I don't really remember any details anymore.
If the mother kills Ziqi, it could regain the mother's power. I think that's why the Mu Family adopt Ziqi.
I don't know if they will follow this though. So don't expect.

I don't care about their storytelling. They can always tell some parts on the story a little later but I can't wait for My Ziqi and Miaomiao to kiss 💋 😝
