Your impression belongs to you only. It does not mean it is the reality. This drama has:- No guy from poor condition…
Haha, actually you are really funny in defending this drama.
You're really good at zooming in on issues to confuse people.

However, from the start, what made netizens get a 'cdrama vibe' were the costumes — let's take the Tang Oh Nara costume for example, it took their Ming dynasty style, set, and alchemy theme. It's not what you call a little poison, or the cultivation of a weak man to be strong (after all, not all wuxia xianxia novels themselves take this route). Just because I mention condor heroes often, that means I'm comparing this drama to this one. Condor heroes are wuxia, not xianxia.

And yes, a copycat can't be a real one after all.

what is the controversy
actually it would be fine if they admit they are 'inspired' by a certain story or culture, then modify it according to the conditions in their country. But what they do is the opposite, they assume it is purely theirs and do not admit if they are indeed inspired. Then when the original owner uses what is really theirs, fans of the person who modified it actually consider the original as plagiarism. Isn't that funny?

what is the controversy
oh, who cares? Then who raised the hashtag #hanbokisnothanfu when one of the cdrama wore clothes similar to the clothes in the kdrama? Haha, even though they have historical records of the clothes they wore to shoot the drama

what is the controversy
what do you mean you justify the act of plagiarism and make ornaments of other cultures as their culture?

Haha, if it's like that, then don't complain if one day there is a cdrama that wears hanbok-like clothes :)

Even though there are obvious similarities, they will never say it is inspired by Chinese drama or anything related…
they really put their popularity to good use :V
'Inspired' from the works of other people in the world without admitting it :v

They do not want to acknowledge the influence of China on their culture, but also continue to use Chinese traditions in their work and acknowledge it as their own. Then when the Chinese/original owners use what is theirs, they will scream as if they were the ones in the plagiarism, they are the ones who got hurt. Really good at playing victim

I think it's between Wuxia and Xianxia. Wuxia is for martial artista and Jianghu while Xianxia is for cultivators…
whatever that is. But the female teacher and student relationship reminds me of Aunt Lung and Yoko, while the first part where a strong woman switches bodies to a weak woman (they both become servants?) reminds me of "princess agent", while the scene of meeting in the water reminds me of the beginning of "untouchable lover" and "Junjiuling"

At first I also thought this was a new drama, especially after seeing the costumes of the main character and actress Oh Nara.

It is nothing? Previously, didn't c-netz also think this was normal as long as it wasn't outrageous? After all, the two are historically related. But what made people angry was when Knetz accused China of plagiarizing Korean costumes and culture because the costumes of certain drama actors were similar to Korean drama actors' costumes and raised hashtags which made China again get scorned and accused of being jealous of South Korea's popularity, wanting to take South Korean culture. , whereas at that time the Chinese used their own.

that sounds a little pathetic and unfair, right? After all, Hong Sister didn't just do this once.

Hotel del luna used to also have cinematography and parts similar to "goodbye my princess", while the plot was allegedly plagiarized from the novel "Rattan" which in the end their fans thought Rattan was the one who plagiarized hotel delluna. Sad isn't it? Is it because they are more popular and have more fans they can do whatever they want?

oh nara's hairstyle is really like a cdrama, and her costume is really hanfu from ming dynasti
Oh, Hong Sister seems to really like Chinese things and is always 'inspired' by them. After the hotel del luna case, they also repeat it in this drama. Haha, under the guise of fantasy genre and their popularity, they seem very confident that they will always be defended no matter how much they are 'inspired' by other storylines and cultures.

than xianxia, this drama reminds me more of wuxia drama(ex. the legend of condor heroes 2017). The plot is reminiscent of the many raincarnation themes in cnovels and cdrama—for example, princess agent. costumes and hairstyles, hey isn't that also very similar to traditional chinese clothes?

Better?
What cgi cdramas make you cringe? I also don't like watching dramas with excess CG, but try Legend of the Condor Heroes 2017, CG looks more natural and real there

because chinnes is famous for this genre which automatically makes people think of it after seeing something similar?…
since it's fiction, they can do whatever they like? Then they can recognize/use any culture, any costume as long as they are consistent? Even if in the end they admit that as his identity and make people think that 'those things' come from Korea?
The problem is that many Korean fans end up considering the country's way of dressing and hair makeup and lashing out at the original owners when they use something similar to aa which they consider to be Korean. And there are many examples, right?

What do you mean here culture is not identity???? Then can Chinese people wear modified hanbok, and then say it's theirs?
Sorry, the sentences you use together, for some reason it feels completely incomprehensible :/

"Wuxia and Xanxia have codes and specifics that define the subgenre of Chinese fiction. But they are not in this drama so far"
if they have these things in it, then they are openly admitting that they are plagiarizing, right?

Don't many Koreans and netizens do the same thing when a drama in China wears clothes similar to their hanbok? they even raised the hashtag #hanboknothanfu on social media which brought the drama to international criticism. Even yuzheng had to personally confirm their costumes followed the tang dynasty style, not korean as they touted.

And what if I say yes? Many of the Korean historical figures wore clothes that looked more like hanfu than habok, for example Scarlet Heart.

After all most of us say it has a similar vibe to chinese drama, not chinese drama plagiarism. But, if you feel like it, then that's what happened :/

Why people claim this is a xianxia/wuxia drama. There is nothing in the pictures or teasers that look like chinese…
because chinnes is famous for this genre which automatically makes people think of it after seeing something similar? Besides, don't lie to yourself, the costume that the female lead is wearing at the beginning of the trailer is the hanfu style that female warriors usually wear in Chinese dramas.
