I think he cuddled her too much, I cant imagine this fake persona for 7 years, you can only use depression as an excuse for soo long. I think he could have mentioned about her behavior to his wife earlier on because he also set the tone and left her in that state she was, pretending everything was okay and she will get better by doing nothing to get better. its the responsibility of people who love and know you to remind you of life in those moments that you cant find hope. But yes he does deserve to live and move on but his kids were grieving as well, his son is also at home and hasn't been able to process their mum's death. I mean its just a trip but then we see him in the trailer for next episodes possibly rushing into something new very soon so we'll see

I get your point sbout how she has probably been essentially dead to hin for now snd he was keeping up a false pretense of being happy but I still feel it was too early and too soon to go on a trip right away, its not like he had to go and he feels guilty for actually wanting to go becayse deep down he is happy she died.

wow you broke down her character to a Tee. I mean I am sure she can attract a decent man but probbaly not keep one. But how work can one do on themselves before they can decide they can be worthy of a decent partner.

How can you say she caused her mother's accident? She can feel guilty for her death which happens when someone is in the mix and it is clearly something she has not yet let go of. She cant address the hate she felt for herself so she projects that onto her mother and making her take the blame because she told her not to come and to just send a courier. these people work even in harsh weathers soo... Anyway the accident was nobody's fault is the problem but the issue is about what happened afterwards and I agree with you and lot sbout the lack of communication and how the parents upbringing led their kids lives.

This is my type of drama through and through. Enjoying the pacing, the characters and their struggles, the family, that first episode was definitely very emotional damn, their father must feel like his whole world was ending. I cant imagine retiring to dedicate time to take care of your wife even though she has not been herself for a while but more than 3 decades loving and supporting each other is a long time and you're just trying to hold on for hope of getting better and it just ends like that. Seeing him scattering to call his son and the shock of it all, damn I cried a lot.

Yeah i guess towards a loved one but as the story progresses we find they probably always loved each other even from when they were young, and they were now exploring this dynamic I guess sexually but definitely Jeonghan was repressing a lot so maybe that was his way of showing that and then when he could let his guard down, became more lovable. Just finished the perosnalitu shift wasn't that much but he did stay kind of bold and strong but I dont think it was of his character to act like the world is over because a partner leaves you yk and he would have handled that differently but thats that.

I don't know if i have a whole review for this but as someone who does not often get into dramas with kind of toxic or morally Grey characters, I truly thought that was what we were going to get with jeonghan from the first few episodes. Lee illjo kind of not my favourite but I guess it fit this dynamic but how someone so audacious and possessive just turns into this suppressed dog is kind of sad to see I will say and I dont think its even character development but its like they just tried to do a 180 on a storyline and decided half way, they were making a different storyline. I guess there are still improvements ghat can be made but its a decent watch, great chemistry snd decent acting.

Or maybe the writer does not make it very clear and is being very vague too

8.0 is a good enough rating, not every drama deserves a 9.0 or 10 unless it's a truly ground breaking or perfectly executed show which is not that common.

this type of drama deserves at most an 8, its not a unique story at all and acting decent at best

Seo Jeonghan is definitely mentally unstable but he is so sexy when he gets mad and raises his voice, i'm sorry. When his Dr friend came to stop him from beating up that cousin, I was very annoyed lol, like let him cook.
